Biography:

Jack was born in the Bronx in 1943 to a Holocaust survivor family. He grew up in a family that was caring and nurturing. He was an excellent student and attended the best high school in the USA, the Bronx High School of Science. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from New York University in 1964 on a full scholarship and became a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York and in the State of New Jersey.

Jack was the Vice President of three difference construction companies for five years. He then created and became President of Kulka Construction Corp., where he has been for 23 years.

Jack is an existing member of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, the Executive Board of the Suffolk Y, JCC, the Touro Law School Advisory Board, Vice Chairman of Metropolitan New York JINSA (Jewish Institute for National Strategic Affairs), Bi-County Political Action Committee, Long Island Holocaust Committee,
Board of Directors of the Hauppauge Industrial Association, and member of the Suffolk County Electrical Agency. Jack has assisted on the board of many organizations, both professionally and personally. He served as President of the Commack Jewish Center and as Chairman of the Board of the following organizations: the Long Island Israeli
Bond Campaign, the Long Island United Way Campaign, the American Cancer Society Theater Party Fund Drive and the St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Development Committee. Jack is also the past President and Founder of the Suffolk Y, JCC, the Farmingdale College Foundation and the Hauppauge Industrial Association.
